Aurelia
A skincare ritual reimagined as quiet luxury.
What this concept set out to solve
The concept challenge: make a skincare brand feel genuinely premium without leaning on the same gold-foil minimalism every luxury skincare label already reaches for. The brief called for a language that felt earned, not decorated.
Where the direction came from
The direction centered on 'quiet confidence': a brand that doesn't need to shout to be believed. Positioning moved away from before/after transformation claims toward ritual, routine and ingredient honesty, aimed at an audience that already associates loudness with insecurity.
Turning direction into a visual system
A soft serif wordmark paired with a muted rose-and-champagne palette, built around a packaging-first grid so the same system scales cleanly from a small serum bottle to a full counter display without ever feeling cramped or diluted.
Aurelia
Carrying the idea across channels
A content system organized around ritual and routine rather than transformation: morning and evening sequences, ingredient stories and texture close-ups replacing the category's usual before/after grid.
Bringing the system to life in movement
Motion built around slow, deliberate transitions: ingredients dissolving into texture, packaging rotating with real weight, nothing that rushes past what the product is actually made of.
Where the system becomes a product
A restrained, editorial digital layout: product pages built around texture and ingredient storytelling rather than dense specification tables, with a slower scroll pace that matches the brand's overall tone.
- A calmer, more premium visual language than typical skincare category conventions
- A packaging-first identity system that scales cleanly across a full product range
- A content system built for ritual and routine rather than transformation claims
- A digital experience structured around texture and ingredient storytelling
